Services that
simplify your life
.

Let Care at Home Pharmacy help simplify your healthcare. We pride ourselves on being experts. Most of our clients are on bubble packs, and our operational model is geared towards personalizing them. It goes through a robust checking system, so there is very little chance of error.

Bubble Packs

We understand there is not a “one size fits all” for bubble-packing. Everyone has different medication regimens. We customize the bubble pack to suit your needs and make it easy to follow, limiting the risk of accidentally taking the wrong medication.

Advantages of using a bubble pack

Stressed and overwhelmed having to take medications out of pill bottles every day, several times a day? This can lead to errors in taking your medications, such as a missed dose or double-dose.

A great solution is having your medications dispensed in bubble packs.

There is no extra charge for this service.

In-home injection services

(drugs + vaccines)

It can be inconvenient, time-consuming, and costly to have to travel to your doctor’s office to receive a regular injection.

Our pharmacists can come to you to administer your regular injection. They are trained to administer drugs subcutaneously and intramuscularly. (into the fat tissue under the skin or the muscle)

Our pharmacists can administer injections in your home as regularly as weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. There is no extra charge for this service. The patient would only be required to have their medications dispensed at our pharmacy to access all of our services.

Extensive Medication Reviews & Ongoing Support

Managing multiple medications can be overwhelming, especially when there are many changes or diagnoses with new medical conditions. The healthcare system of today is strained and having fewer resources to support patients with complex needs.

At Care At Home Pharmacy, your pharmacist will fill in the gaps of the healthcare system by performing extensive medication reviews and provide ongoing support to improve your health & well-being.

This extensive review is performed in your home during the initial “meet & greet” with your pharmacist. It can take up to 2 hours as your pharmacist will gather detailed information about you, including your current medications, medical conditions, allergies, and other relevant histories.

Making Medications Affordable

(Customized Payment Plans for Medications)

Medications can be expensive and unaffordable. As a result, many people do not take their medications regularly because of cost. Missed doses reduce the effectiveness of medications, which leads to poor disease management and emergency room visits.

At Care At Home Pharmacy, we do not want you to make the critical decision between taking an essential medication or paying for food or bills. We want you to be able to do both all the time.

We can help you apply to pharmacare or help get medications covered by pharmacare, EIA, NIHB (Indian Affairs) or by third-party drug plans such as SunLife, CanadaLife, Claims Secure, etc. We also offer customized payment plans such as monthly or quarterly payments.

Other Services

We can dispense the medication in crushed format, as long as crushing won’t affect the absorption or stability of the medicine.

Care At Home Pharmacy does in-house compounding for some products. We work with other compounding pharmacies to get that product to you for compounds we cannot make.

Rather than phone to order refills, we can set it up so that your medication is automatically refilled and delivered on a regular schedule.

Our pharmacists can extend your prescriptions if your doctor is away or if we have difficulty getting a hold of your doctor for refills. There is no additional charge for continued care prescriptions. As long as it is appropriate, we make sure you never run out of medications.

We can synchronize your medications so they all run out simultaneously and can be delivered at the same time.

Our pharmacists are certified to prescribe for minor ailments. This includes prescribing for:

Allergic rhinitis, Dermatitis (eczema, contact & allergic dermatitis), Hemorrhoids, Nausea & vomiting in pregnancy, Recurrent oral aphthae (canker sores), Seborrheic dermatitis, Tinea and candidiasis infections (fungal infections), Mild urticaria (hives) and Smoking Cessation.
